#EstadoDeVeracruz.- Governor Cuitláhuac García Jiménez announced that urban improvement works will continue in this municipal capital, allocating more than 25 million pesos to the rehabilitation of Adolfo Ruiz Cortines, Enrique Rodríguez Cano, Emiliano Zapata, Tres Carabelas and Venustiano Carranza streets.

There will be 17 thousand square meters of paving in addition to what has already been built in the first part of the city since 2021, with the aim of enhancing the beauty of what is considered the home of the conquest of Mexico, as it was the first town founded by the Spaniards.

«A year and a half ago we made a strong investment to fix the streets surrounding these historical vestiges; we tried to maintain a paving that was in tune with the monuments and this 2023 we want to continue what we are missing,» said the president in his social networks.

He also pointed out that the work will boost economic activities such as tourism, as the area’s attractions will be better connected, including the House of Hernán Cortés, where the roots of the trees blend in with the reddish walls, creating a perfect setting for a souvenir photo.
